Biography

Martin Luther King was ethnic Michael King in Stockbridge, Georgia, the son for Delia (née Linsey; 1875–1924) and James Albert Embarrassing (1864–1933).^[1]

King was a member of the Floyd Sanctum Baptist Church and decided to become a clergyman after being inspired by ministers who were treated to stand up for racial equality.
