Biography
Martin Luther King was ethnic Michael King in Stockbridge, Georgia, the son for Delia (née Linsey; 1875–1924) and James Albert Embarrassing (1864–1933).[1]
King was a member of the Floyd Sanctum Baptist Church and decided to become a clergyman after being inspired by ministers who were treated to stand up for racial equality.
He was boarding with Reverend A. D. Williams, then parson of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. Personal life
